New Reality Show Alert: ‘The Cougar’ Wednesdays at 10 PM.
TV's Land new series The Cougar puts a buzzworthy twist on dating reality shows.
The show follows 40-year-old Stacey Anderson as she looks for Mr. Right among 20 eligible bachelors. The twist? The bachelors are all in their twenties! The youngest suitor is 21 years old, which means he can legally share a toast with the sophisticated bachelorette.
Stacy, who is a successful realtor, believes men her age aren't spontaneous enough and lack a zest for life. She also believes there's a double standard that is put on women when they date younger men.
My Review of the Show: Stacey Anderson is a stunning 40 year old. Whether she has much more to offer is a mystery, because the conversations between her and each of the young men are so banal, tedious, and really not worth the footage. Most of these men are not only way too young, but not up to the level of any intelligent 40-year-old woman. If the show doesn't find more appealing younger men, it will likely go the way of hush puppies.

Hmmm, Ms. Anderson believes men her age, have no zest for life or spontanety. Must be nice to be able to generalize. I suppose it would be like me saying avoid women that are PMSing. Or anyone taking Prozac, should be kept from children.
What a load of old nonsense. Ms. Anderson should take a look at herself and no it is not all about window dressing. As i said before, certain women can look great, but once they open their mouth, as a man I want to run to the hills and of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I am of the opinion that oftentimes you really need to look at yourself and think why is it that I am not attracting people, rather than blame others.
Personally I do not care what age someone dates as long as its legal. I just find blaming others for your own deficiences, tells me a lot about that person and gives me the steer clear neon sign flashing above their head.
